Latest Rumors

The biggest is that Team Ninja apparently have an exclusive new Dead or Alive game in the works for the Sony console. Also interesting is that Capcom is apparently remaking the original Mega Man with new graphics for download on PSN. And for RPG fans, Nippon Ichi is working on a new Disgaea for PS3 and Square Enix has a new Kingdom Hearts coming -- though it won't be Kingdom Hearts 3 (that will be coming later).

That is taken from EGM. I would love to see a Mega Man remake, but if they are doing it, they should do a remake of Mega Man 2. That was the best of the series in my opinion as well as many other Mega Man fans. As for a new DOA for the PS3, bleh, who cares. After the disappointment that DOA4 on the 360 was to me (I loved DOA2 on the DC), I think only people who want to see boobs bounce will get it.

Now a Kingdom Hearts game for the PS3 is a selling title. That coupled together with a few others would actually get me to buy a PS3 at $599. Until I see either a larger list of titles or the price drop, the PS3 is still fantasy land for me.

Tired of getting asked to ....
Tuesday, May 1, 2007, 06:58 PM
Reserve some stupid crap that you know you don't need to. I went in to GameStop this past Monday to buy Guitar Hero 2. When I was told it was out of stock, they tried to get me to pre-order Rock Band that is due out this fall. Good catch, you found a game I might be interested in that is coming out THIS FUCKING FALL! The snow just left the grass about 2 weeks ago, so I'm not even going to consider putting cash down on a game. Not to mention that I'm here NOW to buy a game, not one 6-8 months from now.

Here's the answer:

Buy it Here

Call of Duty 4

Ok now this looks like a game I'm going to spend $60 on. I loved the 1st and 2nd games, but the 3rd one to me was just crap. Now that this is coming from the original developers I am feeling VERY excited about it. Tromping around and killing my friends in an online battle again is going to be so much more fun with modern weapons. In all honesty, I hope they leave the vehicles out, but there is one shot in the above trailer that really makes me wonder if they are already in there.

Blizzard to announce New Game next Month
Friday, April 27, 2007, 01:08 PM
Blizzard: " We do intend to announce a new product at the Worldwide Invitational next month in Korea, and we appreciate the enthusiasm and interest in getting an advance look at what that will be, but players will have to wait until May 19th to find out more. Also, we have a very strong connection with the characters and settings of StarCraft, and we do plan to revisit that universe at some point in the future, but we don't have anything new to announce in that regard at present."

Starcraft MMO? Starcraft 2? I think it's going to be Diablo 3 but that is my best guess.

Big Names That Fell Off
Thursday, April 26, 2007, 08:20 AM

Ok first off, this guy is an idiot. The Chrono series has continued on, its just changing its name each time. But I do have to agree with him on Blaster Master. Where the hell is the next iteration of that game? I can remember as a kid, spending countless hours with my friend as we tried and tried to beat that game. We did it one day with the Game Genie but felt it was a hallow victory. We need more games of the Vectorman series too. I used to rent a Genesis just to play that and Comix Zone.

Ok for those of you who still haven't tried out this game, I've got a deal for you.

WoW with The Burning Crusade for $32.99 w/ Free Shipping

This is a game I love and is THE MMO to try if you have never played an MMO and are looking to try one out. You get access to all the starting races and classes with this pack, and a free month. While you probably won't be enjoying Outland within that month, its still worth checking out.

New Tom Clancy Series
Tuesday, April 24, 2007, 01:56 PM

April 24, 2007 - A few weeks ago we learned of a viral marketing site at www.rev64.com that seemed to hint at a new Tom Clancy game coming from Ubisoft. Today the publisher officially announced the title, Tom Clancy's End War, and revealed it is a strategy game in development at Ubisoft Shanghai for release during the company's 2007/2008 fiscal year.

End War is a new brand in the Tom Clancy pantheon of games. Directed by strategy veteran and Ubisoft's creative director Michael de Plater, who has worked extensively on the Total War series, the game is set on the battlefield of World War III. De Plater's team is made up of an experienced Tom Clancy crew that has worked on Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six, and Splinter Cell games.

Set for release on next-gen consoles (when will they become current-gen?), Ubisoft says End War features artificial intelligence, graphics, physics, and animations that were not possible on previous systems.

"Our development teams are invigorated to be creating the first 100 percent next-generation Tom Clancy brand," said Serge Hascoët, chief creative officer at Ubisoft. "Our success with Tom Clancy franchises is unparalleled in the next-generation and Tom Clancy's EndWar will be a marvelous addition to the already critically acclaimed library of games. A strategy game like no other, EndWar will allow gamers to lead their own armies against hundreds of others online in real global locations on the massive battlefields of World War III."

So is it an RTS game or something? Not sure I follow what type of game it is going to be... An MMO?
