IGN.com has released a 10 page article about the history and all the greatness that is the Castlevania series of games (excluding of course the Castlevania64 games). If you are an old fan or a new fan, I highly suggested giving it a read. I know I've played all but about 3 of the games in the series over the last 20 years.

Using the Wiimote, Project64, GlovePIE, my homemade sensor bar, and a Bluetooth USB dongle, I've set up OoT to play with Twilight Princess controls.
Special thanks to Carl Kenner for making GlovePIE and writing the script for TP.
Some people complained that it's hard to see, so here's a clearer video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0q-mILj_vKA
Now here is what looks like a lot of fun. Now if only Nintendo would release this on the Virtual Console so that the rest of us could enjoy it.

In the latest issue of Dengeki, Square Enix confirmed that a Final Fantasy XIII demo will be out sometime this year.
When questioned about the release of the demo, the Square Enix dev team stated, "'We are hoping to have a playable demo ready for E3 in 2007." Since E3 has been downsized as of this year, only invited studios, press, and retailers may attend the event, which may cause Square Enix to hold off a public showing until the Tokyo Game Show, for example, later this year.
Until further notice from Square Enix, we can expect the demo to appear at E3 2007.

Now this is great news for those PS3 drooling fans out there. Hell even I can't wait to see what it is like. I liked FFXII but I wasn't a fan of the new combat system. Thirteen looks like is is going back to the good old Computer Tech/Magic mix and I'm really looking forward to it. When it launches we'll probably find that the PS3 is finally in the reasonable price range, but I'm not keeping my fingers crossed.

Since I got my Collector's Edition of the Burning Crusade, I can't seem to stop my desire to keep playing. Outland is very different, and yet the same. I get the feeling that just like I did when I was in the Badlands from the zone, but at the same time I feel like I'm actually accomplishing something. The zone is absolutely fucking huge. And I don't have an epic mount so it feels even bigger.
Last night in the course of less then an hour, I was able to replace all my warriors armor and almost 1.5x my armor value. XP is coming in pretty fast from quests also, so I should be leveling in about 6 hours a level. A pace I have no problem with.
Now for the Blood Elves that I thought I was going to hate... I actually like them. I don't think that their visual style really fits the horde as they are too beautiful. But I really like their attitudes and its nice to have a horde character that I'm able to visually see my armor, instead of having the wraps around the hoofs.
Unfortunately I won't be able to play this for a few days as the girlfriend will be around, but I hope to see people on Durotan or Moon Guard servers horde factions.

Oh dear god please. At a recent Burning Crusade launch event Itzik Ben Bassat, the Vice President of Blizzard's Business Development, blatantly hinted at a new StarCraft game: "I'm a StarCraft player myself and I hope it's not a decade, and we launched StarCraft in 1998, before I'm standing here again, celebrating the next game in the series."
Surely one way or another there's now a job opening at Blizzard, the suits can't be happy that he said that. Blizzard has mentioned in the past that they've been working on three different games, but they've never uttered the slightest hint at what they may be. Diablo fans know that supposedly a Diablo III soundtrack was recorded many years ago, and that recently a Diablo author hinted at an upcoming Diablo III, so if these 2 hints are indeed true, then that still leaves one game shrouded in mystery. Can you imagine how much money Blizzard would make if Diablo III, StarCraft 2, and WarCraft IV were released all in the same year?
